Horse of the Year Show
The Horse of the Year Show, 2007, hosts the finals of the most highly regarded showing and show-jumping championships and celebrates the end of the competitive season in true style.
It is renowned for its impressive line-up of international showjumping classes, five of which offer
world-ranking points, and
continues to hold class favourites
such as the famous Puissance and the
Horse & Hound Foxhunter Championship.
A variety of showing classes are
also held at the Show, ranging from the
HOYS Miniature Horse of the Year
Championship to the Cuddy Supreme In
Hand Championship. Competitors from
across the country strive to win a coveted
place at HOYS which culminates in the
Supreme Pony of the Year and Horse Deals
Supreme Horse of the Year titles.
If that isn´t enough, a majestic line-up
of entertainment is set to complement the
top show-jumping and championship
action.
Meet the Met!
A high-speed sensation, The Metropolitan
Police Activity Ride (presented by Equimax)
returns to the Show, with a tremendous
display of skill and agility. Started in the
1950s, the team demonstrates both horse
and riders´ ability and confidence.
Members of the team ride with complete
trust and commitment as they jump their
horses through obstacles which include
fire-hoops and a paper wall.
